In order to help a stager give you the highest benefit, there are things you should be doing prior to the consultation.\u00a0 The consultation process, in most cases, is a process where your Realtor or stager goes through and around your property and advises you of what should be done in order to give your property the best chance of best selling at the highest price.<\/p>\n

The less your house is prepped for this appointment, the less detail you will get out of the consultation.\u00a0 In order to get the most out of your appointment, de-cluttered the property and cleaned it thoroughly.\u00a0 De-cluttering means getting rid of collections, excessive furniture, personal photos, and clean out closets. \u00a0Replace any burned out bulbs in lights fixtures, and change out energy efficient light bulbs with ones that are bright instantly. Open blinds and wash the windows, let the sun in your home!<\/p>\n

On the outside, trim and edge the yard, trim hedges, clean out beds, and weed.\u00a0 Remove the screens from the front of the house.\u00a0 Clean the exterior of the house, and remove all cobwebs.<\/p>\n
